TABLE OF CONTENTS


The users view will show you all users in your account in Position Green. You can create an unlimited number of users in Position Green.


Internal users are those from the same company as you and need access to the Investment Monitoring for different reasons. It could be someone from your procurement team who is responsible for a specific category of your suppliers, it could be a procurement manager who needs to able to access all supplier data, or someone from the sustainability department who needs to gather data for the sustainability report.

How to add users to the platform


Step 1. //SETUP/User

Go to the SETUP menu and the User page (see picture above).


Step 2. Add user

To add a colleague to the platform click "Add user."


Step 3. Personal information

Fill out the personal credentials.


Step 4. Access rights

Add the right role groups and applications.


Step 5. Invite

Should the person get an invite straight away to the platform? tick the box "Send welcome email."


Step 6. Add another user?

If you want to create another user after this one click "Create the user and add another one," otherwise just "Create the user"


The Users view will show you a list of all your users, such as:

  • Name of user
  • E-mail of user
  • Organizational units the user is Supervisor for
  • Measures the user is responsible for
  • Last login date/time (or invited)
  • Roles
  • Applications the user is allowed to access


Add the same role to several users at the same time

If there are several users you want to add to the same role, you can tick all the users you want to manage and then click on "Add role group". Once you have performed the action all the users will have received the assigned role in addition to the already assigned roles.


Remove a user from the platform


When a person should no longer be a user and have access to your organization in Position Green Platform, you can remove the user. But make sure their responsibility doesn't get lost but transferred to another user to keep continuity in reporting.


Connect a new contact person to a supplier

There are two ways of creating users with the purpose of responding to a questionnaire


Connect a NEW contact person to a NEW supplier

The external user is often added when adding a new supplier to your supplier list. It is easiest done from the "New Company" view, where you enter the user credentials in the "Create new user" section.


When creating a new company, you can create new users as well.


Connect a NEW contact person to an EXISTING supplier


If you would like to create a new user and connect the user to an existing supplier it is done through the Supplier overview. Read more here about how to change the responsible contact/user for an existing supplier. When changing the responsible contact for an existing supplier, you will get the same options as when creating a new supplier, either select an existing user or create a new one.


When you create a new supplier contact they will appear in Users with the Role group "External Reporters" and the Application "Controlling"

This could be someone from your organization who should be able to manage not only users, suppliers, and templates but also if you have information barriers within your organization.

Adding a Tenant Administrator will affect who has access to Analytics view.
