The measure is active!

Modified on Wed, 14 Oct at 3:36 PM

The measure is active warning appears when registrations have already been generated. Changing the measure has consequences, and the impact depends on when in the setup process the changes are made.

“The measure is active” warning

Changing a measure before the reporting period starts

The warning is also shown while the measure is being adjusted and fine-tuned by viewing the registrations. Changes can be made at this stage, as they only affect test data.

Changing a measure during or after the reporting period

Changes are possible, but should be limited to:

  • fixing typographical errors
  • layout
  • adding better or more instructions

The following should not be changed when reporters have begun reporting data:

  • The logical meaning of an input.
For example, the headcount of employees is not the same as the employee FTE.
  • Unit of the input
For example, kilos to tons (Position Green does not convert reported data).
  • Which part of the organization reports data.
For example, moving the reporting from low down in the organizational tree to a higher level means aggregated data is reported instead of detailed data. The previously reported data is lost.

A measure is considered active when:

  • It has been related to at least one org.unit.

AND

  • It has been generated at least once.

Once registrations have been generated for users to fill in, the measure is active.
