Manual assessment

There are three types of assessments:

• Rating: Manual. Supplier and survey level.
• Scoring: Manual. Supplier and survey level.
• Calculation: Automatic. Survey level only. Contact the Position Green team to arrange this.

Manual assessments are based on information provided by a supplier through a survey. More on surveys.

Manual assessment: rating

When rating a survey or a supplier, a qualitative label is added to indicate the assessment made. Ratings can be customized and descriptions added. 

Supplier rating
Go to Suppliers, click a supplier name and find the Custom Insights widget. Click “Assess” to make the assessment. To update an assessment, click the three dots on the right-hand side of the widget. The options are “Update” and “Comment”.

There are different types of assessment. The categories and text can be updated with the support of the Position Green team or by going to Company setup, Advanced, and Assessments. The code can be amended here and will then change for all instances of this assessment. The maximum number of ratings here is 4.

Surveys and suppliers can be scored manually. Scoring is similar to rating, but uses a quantitative score instead of a qualitative label. Once the score is added, the supplier assessment changes based on the number given.

New types of assessments (manual and automatic) can only be added by Position Green staff.
