Organization can be found under Company Setup.
Similar to aspects, organizational units are organized in a tree structure, starting from the top and working downwards.
Note that you can make organizational units to cluster other units.
For example, units; Europe and the United States are not intended for any reporting. Instead, they cluster the European and U.S. organizational units respectively.
An unlimited amount of organizational units and an unlimited amount of levels can be created. Organizational clustering allows the filtering of data for Analytics.
Example of an organizational structure.
Add an organizational unit to your structure by following these steps.
Step 1: Press the "+" to add a new unit under this unit.
Step 2: Add information such as:
- Name - The name of the unit as referred to within the organization. This can be changed if necessary. This field is mandatory.
- Description - A description can be useful if the name is not self-explanatory.
- Supervisor - The responsible person for reporting data for this unit.
- Tags - Add one or several tags. Tags are used to pull in data in visualizations and exports.
- PrettyId - The system ID for the unit. This can be used as an advanced way to bring in data for visualizations. This field cannot be changed.
Step 3: Save the unit by clicking "Create organizational unit" or "Create organizational unit and add another one."
