The Export page allows you to export your reporting raw data as an Excel file.
The information exported can be used in a sustainability report or an internal report within your organization. On this page, you can filter the data so you only export the information that you need.
Filters
- Time period - If you want a specific period, this is where you define it. The default is the entire reporting year.
- Organizational Units - If you want to export data for one or a selection of organizational units. The default is all units.
- Aspects - If you want to export data from only one or a selection of aspects. The default is all aspects.
- Measure - If you want to export data from only one or a selection of measures. The default is all measures.
Formats
There are two formats available:
- All data in one tab
This will give you all the data in one tab. Here all registrations are in one long list and sorted according to GRI, GHG, and UN SDGs in different tabs. This option is suitable if you would like to search for data using a filter including Reporting period, Aspect, Measure, Reported value, Reporter, etc.
- One measure per tab
This format will give you one tab for each measure. All registrations based on the measures will be clustered in the associated tab. This option might be suitable if you e.g. would like to continue working with Pivot tables or visualizations in Excel.
Each line in the spreadsheet will include when data was confirmed, who is responsible for the data, the organizational unit, and more. There will be a column for each type of data input. Measures that allow for reporting a list of data in repeatable rows will have the data exported as a list as well.
In addition, we also include the "path" of the organizational tree for each line of data. This means you will be able to group data based on these units.
Include metadata
You can choose to add more types of information to the report. The types of information you can include are:
- Comments - checking this includes all comments to all registrations in the report
- Attachments - checking this includes all attachments added to the registrations in the report
Generate the report
Once you set the filters you can press the Generate report button and Position Green will start gathering the requested data. Once ready, the download will start.
Filters are optional or come with default values. If you do not set any filters, all data for the year will be exported.
Gathering data may take some seconds before the download starts.
The export will always generate an Excel spreadsheet, no other format. This is to assure data quality and support for your local analysis of the inputted data to Position Green.
