Numbers

'Number' is the measure used for all numeric data you would like to collect. Use this measure to request numbers from the person filling out the survey. 



In the settings, to the right of the measure builder, you can find the following options:

  • Unit - From a list or your own custom unit
  • Number format - Number or General
  • Number of decimals to show - The number of decimals that will be shown to the reporter
  • Use the thousand separator- See the example below.
    • Unchecked - The number will be shown as 2000
    • Checked - The number will be shown as 2 000 (SWE) or 2,000 (ENG)

Allow data missing - As a response to a required measure, the Reporter can report that the data is missing.

  • Required: The Reporter must add a numeric answer.
  • Required + Allow data missing: The Reporter must add a numeric answer or click Data missing.
  • Not required: It is optional for the Reporter to leave a numeric answer.


Allow data source

Allows the person filling out the survey to indicate if a number is measured, estimated, or from an external source (e.g. invoice from an electricity company).
