Survey data needs to be reviewed before being signed off. Sign-off can be actioned on the Manage Data Entries page. During setup, the reporter responsibility can be assigned.
Find reporter details in Company setup and Add or Edit measure.
Within Edit measure, the default reporter responsibility is given to Unit report.
Examples of how the reporter responsibility can be shared.
Example 1: Reporting on a unit.
A reporter can be given access to a specific org.unit. The reporter can be the user responsible for entering the data.
For example: When gathering production-related data from 5 different geographical sites from around the world. The measure is related to 5 org.units, 5 registrations will exist and 5 reporters will enter data into the registration they are responsible for.
Unit reports: distributes responsibility to multiple holders of data.
Example 2: Reporting for an entire organization.
Reporters are responsible for registering data for all registration instances.
For example: Data is to be collected on employee diversity. There is one central Human Resources department, thus all data resides at the headquarters. The measure is related to 5 organizational units, 5 registrations will exist and the one user selected will register data in all 5 of them.
Choose a specific person means responsibility is centralized i.e. one person will report for all organizational units.
Amongst other role functions, reporters have oversight of the data as the second-line approver. Read more on the approval process. If necessary, an additional Supervisor can be invited to sign off the data. The supervisor can have any user role. The supervisor can be allocated in the Organization view.
