Edit an existing unit

Modified on Mon, 31 Mar at 3:23 PM

Editing units sits within organisation which is under company setup.

Edit a unit by pressing the pen icon. A window will open to edit the org.unit.

  • Name - Rename your organizational unit.
  • Description - In the description, you can edit or add a description.
  • Supervisor - The person responsible for the org.unit.
  • Controllers - Controllers can access this specific part of the organization. e.g. Norge including the subunits Oslo, Bergen, and Stavanger. The controller here will be labeled as, "Org.unit Controller" in "Users."
  • Auditors - Add auditors that only should have read-only access for this specific part of your organization. e.g. Norge including the subunits Oslo, Bergen, and Stavanger. Auditors will be labeled as "Auditor" in "Users."
  • Tags - Change/add tags to the organizational unit (using built-in tags such as Office or Production plant, or create tabs).
  • Region - Region names are connected to the map in the lobby. If a parent unit is connected to a region, all sub-units will be included in the parent's region on the Global impact map. If a subunit has a different region than the overarching unit the subunit's region will take precedence. For example:
    • Org. unit USA has the United States of America configured on it.
    • Org. units Florida and California are subunits of the USA and do not have a region configured to them.
    • US Virgin Islands is also a subunit of USA but the region is set as United States Virgin Islands.
    • The data for Florida and California will be included in the results for the USA on the map.
    • The data for the US Virgin Islands will be included in the United States Virgin Islands on the map.
  • Move under - If a unit belongs in another part of your organization, use Move under to change the placement in the tree.
  • PrettyId - Once set, do not change the PrettyId.
