The measure is active!

Modified on Tue, 25 Mar at 2:13 PM

The measure is active warning occurs because registrations have already been generated. Changing the measure will have consequences, but the impact of any changes depends on when in the setup process changes are applied.

"The Measure is active" warning.

Changing a measure before the reporting period starts

If you are in the process of adjusting and fine-tuning the measure by viewing the registrations, you will be presented with a warning. Changes can be made at this stage as it will only have consequences for the test data.

Changing a measure during or after the reporting period

Changes are possible, but should be limited to:

  • fixing typographical errors
  • layout
  • adding better or more instructions

The following should not be changed when reporters have begun reporting data:

  • The logical meaning of an input.
For example, the headcount of employees is not the same as the employee FTE.
  • Unit of the input
For example, kilos to tons (Position Green will not transpose reported data).
  • Defining which part of the organization will be reporting data.
For example, changing the reporting from far down in the organizational tree to higher up means more aggregated data will be reported instead of detailed data. The previously reported data will be lost.

A measure is considered active when:

AND

  • It has been generated at least once.

When registrations have been generated for the measure for the users to fill in, it is an active measure.
