There are three types of assessments:
- Rating: Manual. Supplier and survey level.
- Scoring: Manual. Supplier and survey level.
- Calculation: Automatic. Survey level only. Speak to your Position Green team to arrange.
Manual assessments are based on information provided by a supplier through a survey. More on surveys.
Manual assessment: Rating
When rating a survey or a supplier, a qualitative label is added to indicate the assessment made. Ratings can be customized and descriptions added.
Supplier rating
Go to Suppliers, click a supplier name then look at Custom Insights. Click Assess to make your assessment. To update an assessment, click the three dots on the right-hand side of this widget. Here, the options are to Update or add a Comment.
There are different types of assessment. The categories and text can be updated with the support of your Position Green team or by going to Company setup, Advanced, and Assessments. The code can be amended here and will then change for all instances of this assessment. The maximum number of ratings here is 4.

Manual assessment: Scoring
Surveys and suppliers can be scored manually. Scoring is similar to rating with a quantitative score as opposed to a qualitative score. Once the score is added, the supplier assessment will change based on the number given.
