Create relationships from the supplier detail view

Modified on Fri, 28 Mar at 11:05 AM

Go to Suppliers, then select the supplier to see the details. Open the menu "Manage" in the top right-hand corner to access the supply chain and assign new companies as providers. In Edit supply chain relationship, first-tier suppliers can be assigned your company as the buyer of the supplier's goods.

When creating new suppliers, they will not be visible from this list until they are mapped. Add suppliers and map suppliers from the Suppliers page. As mapping continues and suppliers are created, newly created suppliers can be marked as providers for companies that have been mapped in the supply chain already.

Assigning relationships populates the tier column on the supplier list view.

Click "More Filters" to find the Tier filter and filter by tier(s).

If a supplier is linked by more than one tier, the Tier column displays only the closest tier.
For example, if a company is assigned both Tiers 1 and 3, Tier 1 will be shown on the Suppliers page. There are greater risks associated with tier 1 relationships than tier 3.
