TABLE OF CONTENTS

Emission factor lists are the basis for emissions calculations done during reporting.

Our emission factor library contains emission factors and uses the framework of GHG to define reporting data points and activities to be measured. Within the list, specific emission factors are described by name.

Add emission factors from our library

In "Company setup," "Advanced" and "lists," emission factor lists can be selected from our library.

Click the "Add emission factors," to see the library's content. The whole list can be selected or various emission factors can be selected from a list. One or more emission factors can be selected from different lists.

Below each emission factor is detailed information as to when it was last updated, including the factors for various scopes, sources, units, and any assumptions to be aware of. The items shown represent the latest version of the factor.

Click "Next" to get an overview of the selected lists and items. Items can be removed in this view. Click "Confirm" to save the list and add it to the lists view. There will be a green tag to the right hand side to indicate that this is an Emission Factor list.

If the emissions factor you choose has the same PrettyID as another factor in your list it will override it.

Additional information and options for selecting emission factors

Each list and list item has a PrettyID (in light grey text) this is a unique identifier. If the selected list and/or list items are already in the setup, a warning will be displayed as these factors will be overridden. The warning will indicate if the previously existing list has another name.

When adding lists and items, current values, all values (with all historical values from previous years), or selected values can be selected.

Select which values to add.

An indication that the list already exists (in another name) and will be updated.

Search for specific factors

When adding lists or items from the library, use the search function to find the relevant factor.

Search for specific factors.

Add factors to an existing list of managing factors
