In the Explore view, you can design a quick report table from the data collected in Position Green.
This view makes it easy to select the kind of data you would like to include in your table and how the data should be structured while also making it possible to choose the aggregation style of the data.
This feature is great if you want to look at the data in detail without needing to create your own pivot tables in Excel or similar applications.
Just like exploring any other type of data in Explore, you can drill down in screening and scores of your suppliers or portfolio companies.
Create a table of your suppliers/portfolio companies and their assessed score
Step 1. Select general data
Select the general data you would like to add to the table such as "Suppliers" / "Companies", for which "Year" the data is valid etc.
Step 2. Data selection
DATA SELECTION: Select "Assessment" to explore data based on assessments.
Step 3. General assessment data
Select the assessment data you would like to add to the table.
Standard data sets independently on set up:
- Name - adds a column with the names of used assessments
- Date - the date it was assessed
- Issuer - who did the assessment
In the section ASSESSMENTS, you can drill down in data specific to the individual assessments.
Step 4. Specific assessment data
Select the assessment you would like to query data for; in this example, "Survey Assessment".
Names of the specific assessments used in the set-up
When selecting a specific assessment you will have the ability to query data for that assessment. In the image below the outcome is "Score" and "Rating".
Score and Rating is selected as columns
Standard Outcome for most assessments:
- Score - the assessment score for that supplier
- Max score - the maximum available to score for that assessment
- Rating - if a rating is available for the assessment e.g. Well approved or Not approved
- Rating description - description for a specific rating, if available
Save your table
For some tables you might want to return to, please check out Analytics view to learn about how to create your own page of data tables.
Download as Excel
You can download all your tables by clicking on "Download spreadsheet" in the bottom right corner.
More detailed assessment queries
Query on category and subcategory data
If your assessments contain categories and subcategories. When you select a specific category the queries will adapt for that certain category.
Drill down if you have several layers of scoring in your assessment
Query on flags
If you would like to query which suppliers/companies have received any notice flags and disqualification flags, you can get an overview of that on a high level. you are also able to drill down through the categories, and explore flags on sub-levels. The null value for flags is 'Unknown.'
Which suppliers have recieved flags on the social category of the assessment
Scoped data selection
After clicking on Assessments, some data fields are available together with a list of assessments. Selecting one of these data fields will result in fields from all assessments will be listed in the table. If an assessment is clicked instead and one of those data fields is selected, e.g. Date, then the date when the assessment was issued is listed for only that assessment that you selected previously.
The same principle is applied to calculation assessments. Calculation assessment can contain categories and subcategories. So if a data field, e.g. Score, is selected without clicking on a category then the total score for each assessment is listed. But if Score is selected after selecting a category, then the total score for the selected category is listed.
FAQ
- Some cells contain Unknown when querying qualifications, what does that mean?
When defining an assessment, they need to have a flag set. But in some use cases this is empty or not used so Unknown is set. If you are querying for assessments that have flags but are not interested in seeing Unknown, you can create a column filter to filter them out.
