Generating registrations

To collect data from reporters, registrations must be generated. This is the last step in the setup process. Registrations must be generated to be live and published to reporters. Once a registration is generated for a measure, changes made in the measures will be automatically visible in the Report Data view.

To generate a registration for reporting, all connections between the 4 elements of the setup must be set up. If the set up is not completed your registrations will be under Registrations that cannot be generated with a reason text. When all prerequisites are fulfilled registrations can be generated. Only measures that are not already published will be generated.

Find Generate registrations under advanced.

Step 1. Identify what you would like to publish with the filter by filtering to find the relevant organizational units, periods, and measures to generate registrations. If nothing is selected in the filter, the preview will generate all registrations that fill out the criteria.

Optional filters narrow down which registrations you want to create. Several features can be applied:

Measure filter: Choose measures to generate registrations for.
Organizational units: Choose organizational units to generate registrations for.
- Select by tag: Filter by the unit tags.
Periods: either range or a specific period
- Date range
- or name of the period.

Step 2. Click preview to find a list of all registrations with the following information:

Measure name.
Organizational unit.
Responsible: the responsible person for confirming the data.
Registration Date: End date of the period.
Period: according to the frequency in the organization.

Step 3. State a reason for generating registrations. The reason is collected and saved in a log for auditing purposes.

Step 4. Generate allows reporters to see the registration and start reporting. If there are generated registrations but they aren't visible for the reporters, the reporting year may not be visible yet. Read more here.
