We are a service provider and do not sell physical products. Why do I have to answer this?

Modified on Thu, 26 Mar at 3:55 PM

Responsible business conduct and respect for human rights are just as important for a service provider as for a supplier of physical products. As a provider of services, you often buy products and services from others in order to deliver your own services. For example, you may buy services such as cleaning services, and products such as office supplies, furniture, PCs/computers, other equipment, etc. Many of these products are associated with the risk of human rights breaches and poor working conditions.

It is not a problem to answer “no” or “don't know” to questions if you do not have the answers. Your client/business partner should take into account which industry and type of product/service you deliver to them when reviewing your survey. There is also a comment field in the survey where you can enter additional information.

We encourage you to complete the survey to the best of your ability and knowledge.
