Confirm/unconfirm registrations in Manage Data Entries

Modified on Wed, 9 Sep at 4:11 PM

The ability to confirm/unconfirm registrations can be useful, particularly when you want to confirm/unconfirm many entries in one as you can select one, or several to act on.

Confirm registrations

  1. Select one or more registrations in the "Manage data entries" table.
  2. In the floating bar at the bottom of the screen, click "Confirm".
  3. In the drawer, tick "Ignore validation" to confirm a registration even if mandatory data is missing.
  4. Tick "Notify users" to email the responsible person, or responsible and collaborators, or collaborators only. Click "Edit before send" to change the subject and message before sending. Read more about editing templates.
  5. Click "Confirm" to finish, or "Cancel" to close the drawer without confirming.

A confirmed registration could be locked. Unlock the locked registration before it can be edited or unconfirmed.

When selecting Confirm in Manage data entries, a dialog with additional actions will appear.

Unconfirm registrations

  1. Select one or more registrations in the "Manage data entries" table.
  2. In the floating bar, click "Unconfirm".
  3. Tick "Notify users" to email the responsible person and connected collaborators about the change. Click "Edit before send" to change the message first. Read more about editing templates.
  4. Click "Unconfirm" to finish, or "Cancel" to close the drawer without unconfirming.

An unconfirmed registration is added back to the responsible person's to-do list. Unlock a locked registration before it can be unconfirmed.

When selecting Unconfirm in Manage data entries, a dialog with additional actions will appear.
